Vauxhall Road House
RENOVATION
This house was a run-down Californian Bungalow constructed around 1920.
A large, unsightly extension had been built in the 1960s, creating a family room upstairs with an empty outdoor space below it. There was no internal access to the family room.
We reconfigured the entire lower level, filling in the empty space below the family room and opening all the rooms up to create a better flow through the house.
Internal stairs were added to reach the upstairs level, which was converted to a master bedroom, ensuite, walk-in wardrobe and study.
